Backend Developer (NestJS)

About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Developer to help build and improve the services behind Linfio.

You'll work with NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, and modern backend technologies to develop features used by real learners.

This role is ideal for developers who want hands-on experience building production-ready systems and understanding how scalable applications are built.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST APIs using NestJS and TypeScript
• Design and implement backend features for the Linfio platform
• Work with MongoDB and Mongoose for data modeling and storage
• Integrate real-time functionality and background services
• Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to deliver new features

Requirements

• Experience with Node.js and NestJS
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Familiarity with MongoDB and Mongoose
• Understanding of REST API design principles
• Basic understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redis
• Knowledge of WebSockets or real-time communication
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch
• Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms
