Frontend Developer

About the Role

We're looking for a Frontend Developer Intern to help improve and expand Linfio, a vocabulary learning platform used by real learners.

You'll work on features across the Linfio web application, improve the desktop experience, and help build our upcoming Chrome extension. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy creating polished user experiences and solving real-world product challenges.

Your work will directly impact real users and contribute to the growth of an active product.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features for the Linfio web application
• Help develop the Linfio Chrome Extension
• Improve desktop responsiveness and adaptive layouts
• Create reusable and maintainable UI components
• Integrate frontend features with backend REST APIs
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and user experience
• Collaborate with designers and other contributors to deliver product improvements

Requirements

• Proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and TailwindCSS
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with REST APIs integration and client-side state management
• Basic understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience building Chrome extensions or browser-based tools
• Familiarity with IndexedDB or browser storage APIs
• Knowledge of web accessibility best practices
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright)
