UI/UX Designer

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our design team. You'll work closely with the founder and engineering team to design interfaces for our web app, upcoming mobile apps, and Chrome extension. This is a hands-on role where your designs will directly impact thousands of learners.

Responsibilities

• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile
• Create and maintain the Linfio design system and component library
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Design onboarding flows, flashcard interactions, and gamification elements
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics data

Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects (web or mobile)
• Understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles
• Knowledge of design systems, typography, and color theory
• Ability to translate user needs into intuitive interfaces

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for education or language-learning products
• Familiarity with motion design and micro-interactions
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with user research methodologies
